Dialyn, the S-Rank Physical Stun agent from the Krampus Compliance Authority, arrived in Zenless Zone Zero during Version 2.4 in late November 2025. By 2026, she has settled into the roster as a versatile off-field enabler rather than a traditional on-field stunner. Her value comes from fast field swaps, Rally accumulation, stun extension, and the rare ability to convert an ally's Chain Attack into an Ultimate. For teams built around burst windows, she remains a high-impact support unit.

Kit and Rally system

Dialyn's kit revolves around the Rally system, which starts at 60/120 and cycles through EX Special Attacks in the order Rock → Scissors → Paper. Her EX Specials can cycle every six seconds, and each one carries invulnerability. Rock is a punching thrust that deals Physical DMG. Scissors is a slicing attack that deals Physical DMG. Paper, also called Boo, is a debuff thrust that deals Physical DMG and applies Suppression. The Paper stage is the key enabler because it layers Malicious Complaint onto the target. Early summaries cited a three-second stun extension and a 35% Stun DMG bonus, while later detailed notes describe Malicious Complaint as a two-second extension and a 15% Stun DMG multiplier increase. Players should confirm the final in-game values, but the design intent is consistent: Paper makes stun windows longer and more punishing.

Her charged EX, Martial Salute, triggers after gaining one stack from a 120 Rally Chain. It deals massive Physical DMG, always crits for an additional 50% when Dialyn is paired with an Attack or Rupture ally, and can Quick Assist a teammate with Inspire, granting a 50% DMG bonus for 30 seconds. Dialyn also gains temporary invulnerability during the move. Her Chain Attack is a multi-kick burst that deals Physical DMG while keeping her invulnerable, and her Ultimate is a flicking dash that deals huge Physical DMG with invulnerability.

Dialyn's Basic Attack performs up to four frontal slashes. When enhanced by Rock or Scissors, it adds two extra hits. Her Dodge is a standard evade with a follow-up slash, and a Perfect Dodge Counter or Assist Follow-Up can chain into her strong fourth Basic hit. Her Special Attack is a dual-ring slice with elevated Anti-Interrupt properties.

Positive Reviews and CRIT conversion

Dialyn starts combat with 60 Positive Reviews. If her initial CRIT Rate is above 50%, her Impact increases by 1.4 for every extra 1% CRIT Rate. This caps at +100 Impact at 100% CRIT Rate. That creates the most important build rule for Dialyn: 50% CRIT Rate is the start of the conversion, and 100% CRIT Rate is the target for maximum Impact. She also gains Positive Reviews over time and when Rock, Scissors, or Paper hits. At 90 or more Positive Reviews, she can upgrade an ally's next Chain Attack into an Ultimate or force a Chain Attack window.

Skill priority

To maximize Dialyn's performance, the recommended skill order is:

Priority Skill
1 Core Passive
2 Special Attack / EX Special
3 Chain Attack
4 Ultimate
5 Assist
6 Basic Attack / Dodge

This setup ensures Dialyn delivers strong Physical DMG, buffs allies efficiently, and maximizes her Rally and Martial Salute mechanics.

Best W-Engines

Yesterday Calls is Dialyn's best W-Engine. It provides 24% CRIT Rate, off-field Energy Regen, extra Daze from Physical EX Specials, and a team CRIT DMG buff at full stacks. The CRIT Rate makes it much easier to reach the 100% Core Passive threshold. Recommended alternatives include Hellfire Gears, Steam Oven, and Precious Fossilized Core. If players must choose, the signature W-Engine should be prioritized first because it improves Dialyn's personal performance and helps her hit the CRIT Rate threshold, use more EX Specials, stun faster, and generate Positive Reviews more consistently.

Mindscapes

The recommended investment order is M0 with no Signature → M0 + Signature → M1 + Signature → M2 → M6 if investing heavily. M1 Boundless Hospitality is the first real Mindscape spike: it speeds up Positive Reviews generation, and while Overwhelmingly Positive is active, allies ignore 15% of enemy All-Attribute RES. M1 is strong, but it is a support upgrade; it does not replace the Signature's CRIT Rate, Energy Regen, and Daze. M2 24/7 Hotline makes Malicious Complaint targets take an extra Stun DMG Multiplier, and the team deals 15% more DMG to those targets. M4 grants 20 Energy on combat entry and +500 ATK while Overwhelmingly Positive is active. M6 Truth gives an ally Aftertone when they enter with a converted Ultimate; Dialyn then deals extra Physical DMG equal to 480% of her ATK, treated as EX Special Attack DMG, once per second up to 12 times. M3 and M5 are skill level increases. Dialyn is already complete at M0, and players who pull extra copies can generally stop at M1 unless they want to push her further.

Drive discs and stats

The ideal drive disc setup is 4-piece King of the Summit, with 2-piece Woodpecker Electro if Dialyn is under 100% CRIT Rate, or 2-piece Swing Jazz if she is already at or near 100% CRIT Rate. King of the Summit is the best Stun set, and Dialyn can keep it active easily because she uses EX Specials often and already builds CRIT Rate for her Core Passive.

Players should not put Impact% on Disc 6 as the default. Dialyn already converts CRIT Rate into a large amount of flat Impact. Energy Regen gives her more EX Specials, more Daze, and more Positive Reviews. Dialyn is a Stun support, not a main DPS. She is best with Attack and Rupture DPS characters that want extra Ultimates, longer stuns, and more damage during stun.

Best teams

Dialyn extends stun duration, increases the Stun DMG Multiplier, and can convert a Chain Attack into an Ultimate. That is strongest on DPS characters whose biggest damage sits in Ultimates and stun windows.

Team style Composition
Ye Shunguang hypercarry Ye Shunguang / Dialyn / support
Yixuan Yixuan / Dialyn / Lucia
Banyue Banyue / Dialyn / Lucia
Evelyn Evelyn / Dialyn / Astra Yao
Hugo Hugo / Dialyn / stun or support flex
F2P Soldier 11 / Dialyn / Lucy

Rotation and gameplay

Dialyn should stay off-field as much as possible, cycle Rock → Scissors → Paper, then swap in to convert the ally Chain into an Ultimate during stun. The practical rotation is:

  1. Stay off-field and cycle EX Specials: Rock → Scissors → Paper.

  2. Apply Malicious Complaint with Paper before the stun.

  3. Build Positive Reviews to 90 or more.

  4. Swap in on stun, use the Chain or Quick Assist window, and convert the DPS Chain Attack into an Ultimate.

  5. Let the DPS take the extended stun window. Do not hold the field on Dialyn unless Energy or Daze is needed.

Following this rotation keeps Dialyn's Rally charged, buffs the team, and ensures her high-damage abilities land effectively.

Dialyn versus Banyue

Dialyn is a Physical Stun agent who works as a universal enabler. She upgrades ally Chains into Ultimates, boosts damage by 50%, and extends stun durations. Players who do not have strong stunners yet, or who want to run hypercarry teams with Yixuan, Banyue, or Evelyn, will find Dialyn to be a great pick. She is F2P-friendly and fits into most rosters easily. Banyue, on the other hand, is a Fire Rupture melee DPS who excels at AoE and single-target damage. She is perfect for players who need a main carry, and she pairs very well with Dialyn for extra Ultimate procs. As a general rule, players should pull Dialyn first for versatility, and choose Banyue if their DPS slots are already filled or if they want strong Krampus mono-synergy teams. Both characters are viable at M0S1.

Dialyn's 2026 standing is clear: she is not a field-hogging stunner, but a flexible support who turns stun windows into team-wide burst opportunities. With the right CRIT Rate investment, the signature W-Engine, and a disciplined off-field rotation, she remains one of the most effective enablers for Attack and Rupture compositions in Zenless Zone Zero.
